I like/hate getting so many jobs by SnapDocs!! I am a naturally friendly, "but would rather not work with people" kinda girl, so the prospect of NOT having to talk to anybody and just get the job done is appealing. What is irritating is the "first to text back is hired" means that anybody with a faster download time on their phone gets the call for local jobs, OR they don't hire me bc my fee is higher. (I don't think $100.00 for local signings is unreasonable.) I keep missing out on jobs bc vendors are hiring somebody else for local jobs, BUT they are taking low fees. I wish that these local NSA's would calculate their ACTUAL COSTS and realize that you make no money on these signings that are $60/150 page documents. I still get actual phone calls, but not nearly as often as texts. Btw, the odd duck jobs from attorney's offices out of state call me from my listing HERE. I They are surprised when I do a professional job, as if we don't all work that way.

Good Morning from Atlanta (Snellville)- This is Penny. I get mostly telephone calls from businesses, with some emails, but for individual matters (hospitals, local trips, etc.) I receive emails as a general rule (though some call also), so all during the day I pay attention to emails unless I'm at a closing for a little while. I delete the rude texting messages.

Equally split between e-mail 'apps' (like SnapDocs) and phone calls.
I simply refuse to do the 'phone apps' with text messages (also a SnapDocs & several other similar platform alternatives). E-mail is bad enough, but treating us like trained dogs while they can take all the time they want to make a decision or keep sending out the same 'opportunity' is just wrong.

I will grant that my approach will not work in every area as some areas are just overloaded with ignorant newbs who will take anything.

IMO, texting to cellphones is NOT the way to do business, but it is working for them so I don't expect it to go away.

If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will.

I heard that phone calls have been mostly phased out and the new jobs dispatched are mostly by other mediums. What mediums do you get your jobs (assuming there is any business these days.)?
