Well,
#1. January 1 was a legal holiday (on a Sunday this year) so observed on the Monday so the office was probably not open until Tuesday, when disbursements were made.
#2. If you were named on the CD as a line item your check should have been cut on day of disbursement, but if not and you're paid out of the company's operating account, then that will delay your payment a bit - but NOT almost two months.
I agree you should have been paid by now. Are you sure YOUR loan closed? There were no issues or errors to hold up your payment? You can check the property records to be sure your loan funded (if the security instrument recorded, your loan funded - get a copy to make sure that the recorded security instrument is the one you notarized).
Is this an attorney? I'd send a collection letter with copy to title, but also include a little blurb that you're going to notify the respective Bar Association if you do not receive payment within the next 5 days (I usually give a bit longer but say 5 days here because you've waited long enough).

P.S. Quick FYI - I just checked reviews elsewhere for you - this is a one-star company known for the past year for extremely slow pay, have to chase them, 60-90 days, and also including excuses of "accounting errors' - much like you've experienced.
