I was just reading the forum and looked at the list of worse companies to work for and there it was Loan Closers. Not ten minites after I closed the site I got a call from Loan Closers wanting me to handle an assignment in a town that is way out of my district. The caller was very high pressure and kept asking if I would do it. The amount they offered was below my minimum fees, and the rude pushy guy kept asking how much more I would want to handle the assignment. I told him Loan Closers was in PAY IN ADVANCE STATUS. and unless I got $175.00 up front, I was't going. He kept offering me the original $110.00 plus a "couple of bucks for gas!" He wouldn't shut up, so I hung up!

I think Loan-Closers are the same people. TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!! Try to get a live person on the phone. ALso they now use a service for payments. They have screwed up twice with me, the latest time costing me $15.00 in Bank Fees.

I got a call in the morning asking me if I could handle a closing in my home town a 23 mile round trip. I said the time and date was open and my minimum fee for the signing and printing up to 275 pages total would come out to $135.00, if there would be fax backs, or additional pages there would be and additional $25.00 charge for each. They did the usual hemming and hoing and said they would have to get it approved!

I'm the only NNA Signing Agent in this 8,000 square mile area, so I knew they would be calling back. Since it was a while from when I last worked for them I looked them up in my system. Turns out I handled 4 assignments for them last year. Each one has a demand for payment because 45 days had passed and two had an additional demands for service due to very late payments.

When the lady called back I told her I would refuse the assignment due to late payment problems in the past. She went into the story of how they always pay on time. I told her that I refused to handle any work from them an hung up. Two hours later I get a call from them again, this time the happy go lucky BS expert. He started to tell me everything all over again about the assignment, and I told him that I wouldn't do it and why. The brow beating begins.

I must be mistaken, I am wrong it must be another company, they always pay net 30, I must have messed up the invoices, etc. I finally had to tell him to have a nice day and hang up! I don't know what they are going to do about this closing and future closings here, but it isn't going to be handled by my service.
