I can now write that this Brother printer does in fact print as needed both letter and legal size interspersed pages within a document. I do like this printer and find myself using the duplex printing feature frequently for other than notary work. It bugs you continuously with a 'low toner' message when it gets low. Original toner on Amazon I have found to be the best buy. I price match at Staples and then add a discount coupon when I can. TN780 toner for 12,000 print pages is the best buy for your money. If you run out of one type of paper it automatically moves on to the other drawer which I do not like happening. I prefer that it just stop until paper is replenished. I avoid this problem by filling paper drawers before each large printing job. This printer is a good choice for notaries.

With this fancy pricey new Brother MFC8950dwt dual tray printer I am set for any printing chore but I am wondering if this printer will handle a PDF document with interspersed random letter and legal size pages within the PDF file. Does anyone out there know if this printer is up to the task? What printer would handle this type of printing need if not this one?
