Yes keeping the printer on high temp. consisting toner in it will damage it soon.

Also that's good your business is successful at that limit, you need mobile printing. For mobile printing you need to get inbuilt battery or inverter to run that printer in your car or any other vehicle.

Good luck.

In this heat we have down here, you're going to have to remove that printer nightly anyway unless it's garaged in a relatively cool garage.
That toner can't be stored at high temps, so leaving it in a printer in a car over 70 degrees or so is only going to ruin it.

Glad to head someone's business is so booming they need to mobile print. If you just want a small, portable, get the revised docs done type deal there was a small one mentioned on NotRot very recently for $60 or so (a Brother I believe) - small enough to tote around but good enough to get the job done - you'd just have to tote it into borrower's/signer's home to plug it in.

Otherwise, if you're looking for bigger and better and a workhorse in your car, you're going to have to look into having a decent sized pure sine inverter installed in your vehicle so you don't drain your car's battery while printing - possibly $300-$500, plus installation.

Some time ago someone on NotRot posted a long post on what she did and how she set up her vehicle. You might ant to search there - she had an entire office installed in her car and it was quite impressive - but it wasn't cheap.

Good luck.

Can anyone offer advice on setting up their car for mobile printing? I am in the process, but I use my car for family uses as well and need to be able to easily remove the printer. I have a small SUV and plan to set up the printer in the very back. We use this vehicle to transport our 2 dogs so I would need to be able to remove the printer.
