I have to disagree, I have worked for First American Title a/k/a First American Signature Services (FASS) for several years now, they almost always have to get my fee approved, but they also almost always call me back and meet my fee. Only a few times I have had issues getting the documents, that is usually due to lender and not them. Also as of recently, last few months, they have been paying a week after job is completed. They have been calling me more recently with loan modifications where they start out at $35, but due to the distance they wanted me to travel, I have even got as much as $125 for those. I have never had to do any of their tests, but that may be because I have worked for them for six years with 100% accuracy. I also always use their web site to close out the job.

They have to be the WORST to work for in the business and they claim to be the best! Now they tell us there is a half hour delay in downloading their docs??????????????? Are you kidding me??? Like they are the only company that I work for and the only loan I have that day...I tell you their fees just aren't worth it unless the closing is close to your office and likewise for their $35 fee for Loan Mods.. everyone else give $50 or more! If you don't have to work for them..don't..they take up too much of your time with their webinars (that you can't even understand the commentator) you have to take the time off of your work day to watch it and she reads it (like we are kindergarten children)and then there is a test the next day! Their schedulers are hard to understand as well and they have to repeat the "call is recorded" every time they talk to you and just waste,, waste more time AND the kicker.. You go to report a close and you have to wair for 1.7 minutes to hear the recording where they say the FASS Number 4 times..drives you nuts....
