Not obvious at all - that's quite an assumption to make.

I have never had issues getting paid and they always meet my fees and I have been working with them for several years. All I can say is the notaries that are posting below obviously are not getting paid due to issue they had doing the closings ie error on docs, sitting on docs and the endless things that inexperienced notaries do!

Creative Signings has owed me $80 since Jan 16th, 2016. They are either broke or crooked. Avoid at all costs. You will be doing the signing for free.

Did a signing followed up on payment for one signing. I check payment status of invoices approaching 30 days. Informed payment 45 to 60 days. I checked with title payment was sent and check cleared a few days ago.

Note paying that many days after payment is received is a sure sign that there is financial difficulty or poorly capitalized.

Well after sending email yesterday and again today and posting comment on their website with no response: I just emailed them and told them I had to cancel due to lack of communication on their end.

This is the email I sent this morning:

Hello, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to cancel this signing. I sent an email yesterday questioning the time it takes to get paid and advised that I would need documents no later that 2:00 p.m. central time. I have yet to receive a reply, which tells me there are communication problems within your company. I also checked your company out on Notary123.com and saw several people indicate they have not been paid and they were also lowballed on their fees. They also commented that you micro manage and cut fees even after they have been approved. Please remove me from your call list. Pamela L Roberson

This is the response I received:

I apologize but I check inbox and spam and no reply was received.

Their response: #8203;I am not sure what happened then, I saw it this morning when I got in. but I removed you from the order.

Thank you for your time

Thank you all for taking time to post on companies. I consider myself a professional and do not like the lack of communication between some of these companies. I wish you all the best in the year to come.

Pam

Thank you Linda for your reply. I'm still waiting for a response to my email and for the documents. If I don't get documents by 2 p.m. central time, I won't be doing the signing. I don't rush last minute, that's how mistakes happen and accidents in this weather. I clicked on your websites and appreciate your professionalism.

I'm a newbie, going on year three. Overall, it's been good. But like you said I hate when they try and lowball the fees. After expenses this past year I didn't even clear half of what I made.

I will continue for at least another 2 years or until my dream of becoming debt free is fulfilled. Thank you again for your reply and pray you have a bless, profitable year ahead. Pam

Good Luck Pamela - I'm reading reports on this company of their taking 60-90 days to pay plus they pay low.

No personal experience here..no Holiday Inn either - just reading ratings elsewhere. I, personally, would not have taken the chance. But that's just me.

I was called today for a small package signing (time share, 50-60 pages. They first sent a text and mentioned $50. I replied no, reason fee too small.

They called and ask if I would accept $80. It's only 50-60 pages and I only needed to fax/scan back application and notarized documents. I told them yes. They sent me a link to accept their contract. The email they sent indicated payment in 45-60 days.

I sent them an email to ask how long it will take to get documents to download and why does it take 45-60 days to pay when most companies pay with 15-30 days. I will keep you informed of response and if I get paid.

I was going to call and cancel after reading comments, but since it's local I will give them a chance. I won't do back to back signings for a company unless I know their payment history. Not sure why the one notary is owed for four jobs.

One notary claims that this used to be a great company with small packages and great pay. They were associated with Hilton Grand Vacations. But, the notary wanted an apology for being owed for four signings, and the staff was not considerate to him. There was an argument, and they are no longer on speaking terms!

Another notary is also owed money from Creative Signings and spoke to the president of the company who also claimed to have trouble getting paid from their clients.

A third notary claims that this company used to be Vital Signings. Hmmm.

Has anyone worked for Creative Signings before? How creative can you really get with a signing, other than the jokes you tell before you get started?
