BEWARE!!! Also note that all of the "good" comments on this thread are from California so I'm assuming Signing Stream is posting "good" comments on their own behalf.

This company lies to you to get you to do the closing, then sends late and big packages. The scheduler told me the loan was a first and second. It was TWO separate loans on TWO separate properties. Both packages were huge. Also when I got to the closing the borrowers told me that another notary was scheduled but backed out at the last minute. Now I know why, she/he must have read these boards, which I did not since I was driving when I got the call and accepted the closing, my mistake.

Then after 3 months or more waiting to get paid they shorted my pay saying I didn't fax back when I did.

I will not close for this company ever again. I had to chase them to get paid for 3 months and then got my pay shorted for not faxing even though I did and I have the fax confirmations.
