Do not work for Mortgage Docs. They will not pay you! Many of us are still waiting for payment well over 90 days.

I did my first signing for Mortgage Docs in July. I have not yet been paid. They were very reluctant to pay the fee I requested, but they finally agreed. They required a large fax back, which was done. They did not provide a toll-free fax number. Then I had to send multiple requests to get them to send me a shipping label so I could return their doc package.

I am an experienced signer. In addition to this forum I maintain a personal "watch list" for those companies who either are difficult to work with and/or don't pay promptly. This company is now on my "watch list."

Anyone else had trouble with this company not paying promptly?

Nat, I agree 100%! I've watched their fees go from $75 down to $35 and there's no way you can make money with them. Being rather new at doing signings, I initially thought I'd do a few with them for the experience, but I found that becoming certified here and purchasing a listing have been time and money well invested. I'm getting regular calls from escrow officers who want notary signings.

They are LOW-BALLERS! They have NO respect for notaries! Please, don't take a job from them. They send out group emails like an AUCTION BLOCK for a job posting. First come, first serve! It's not right! I will NOT lower myself to their standards. What's crazy is, there is so much regulation and monitoring in this industry, and the thought that B of A, can accept their low-standards for putting out new job-postings as an auction block? Are you listening B of A?

If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
