I agree 100% with LindaH. The whole reason you get an EIN is to protect your privacy. There is no reason a legitimate company should not accept your EIN rather than insist on your SS#.

Have Seal, Kan Travel! When you need a document notarized, I cover all of NE Oklahoma from I-35 to I-40 to the state borders. Call: 918-798-8908.

I have never had a company refuse to accept my EIN. If this company refuses to do business with you that's probably a good thing. Count your blessings.

Does anyone work for any company that will not accept your EIN#? I have a company that refuses to do business with me because I won't give them my SS#. They are saying that the business arrangement is between me as a person and not my company.....but my company is me! They also want my drivers license info and my banking info so if they were to get my SS# that would be the last piece of the puzzle which could open me up to identity fraud if someone so desired.

To this point no companies that I do business with have anything but my EIN#. Just wonder if anyone else had this same issue????

THANK YOU!

If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
