Michele, I like your style! Thank you!

I try to find ways to turn all customers into clients. I hope that all clients will be friends. I do this in full sincerity, it's just made being a notary that much better. We've found that working with friends just makes for better working environments. Everyone wants the best for each other. Client Friends protect your transactions before they even get to you. They respect your workload, prices, and care about you personally.

Collecting and providing information to be available to your customers is awesome. Not abusing it also adds integrity to your business. I'm sure many of your customers have turned into clients because of this.

We have taken an extra step to send thank you cards to our customers in hopes that they can turn into life long friends too.

I differentiate between Clients & Customers. Clients are long term relationships I have w/ Signing Services, Title, Escrow, some Borrowers. Customers are the Borrowers I see once, maybe twice . . . One of the things I've been doing for years now is I ask the customer for their e-mail address. At first it was just so I could provide them w/ the Tracking information for say FedEx/UPS, etc. . . I would go onto the FedEx/UPS website & put their e-mail address in so they would be able to see their package getting to it's destination. But more so today I am asking for the e-mail so I can follow up on the phone call & let them know the time & address of the loan signing. I still call & speak w/ the Borrower, but now I am able to provide my phone & e-mail if they need to reach for me for whatever reason. Borrower seem to like it. I don't share this information w/ anyone. I protect it under the Gramm Leach Bliley Act, as I do w/ all things. Enjoy better business.
