I have used Skysail and I like it, but I recently did a closing for Archimerc and when I sent them the W9 and E&O they sent an email to tell me they are taking me off their notary list because "they don't deal with Archimerc" What do you suppose that is all about?

Hi David--

Anne McBride in ME (member of 123notary) also told me she has spoken to the owner of Skysail. She intends to use them/ sounds great! Sally

Has anyone had any experience with Skysail? When you do a Direct Closers signing, it is linked to Dir. Closers site. The gist of it is, you enter your closings from any title-signing co. for the week, and they pay you the following wednesday. I tried it w/ a few signings last week, and they direct deposit as advertised. One nice feature is they pay you upfront (minus 3%), and then they have to worry about slow-pays and deadbeats. Not too bad for 3%. My advise is if you have new folks you do a closing with that you're not too familiar with, use Skysail, for your regulars who pay quick or do direct deposit, don't. My experience with Skysail so far has been positive, any thoughts?

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
