Hello:

Same problem...Signing completed on June 5. Left several messages and absolutely no response. Let's definitely cross this one off the list!

The closing was a nightmare, and the borrowers did end up rescinding because the figures were incorrect. (Too long a story to put all the details here). Through no fault of mine, it had to be reclosed.

I have sent many e-mails and called the company many times, but still have not been paid. On 9-26 Samanatha said the check was issued on 9-10-12 and mailed.

Still no check received, after many e-mails and phone calls. One phone call Samantha said she would cancel the check and overnight a new check to me. Not done yet.

I will not do any more work for this company. I did a favor for low pay and then don't get paid. Nonsense.

I did a favor for low pay

Are you doing signings as a business or as a hobby?

When you allow yourself to start out "behind the 8 ball" with over 300 pages for $95, THEY feel (and rightly so) that THEY can control you.

When you get an oversize package, turn it around to be a PayPal NOW or they can have it back. And add at least 50$ to your fee.

I did a closing for them on May 17, 2013. They claim they issued a check on 7-1-2013. I never received said check and they still have not reissued after 4 or more email pleas for check! I have a feeling this could be a loss. I am thinking of contacting the lender, this is ridiculous.

A little nasty too.

I just accepted a closing from them. Samantha was the one who called me. This is my first one so hopefully it goes well. In the confirmation under Payment, it reads: *PAYMENT: Payments for all closings are ready to be processed after 30 business days from the funding date. Payments are processed and sent out on the 15th and 30th of every month. QUESTIONS on payment, please email info@nationwide-settlement.com. ALWAYS retain your copy of the confirmation until payment has been made! We will not adjust fees without your confirmation as proof.

Hopefully this helps for anyone else possibly helping them.

I must be a huge moron! I accepted a job with this amoral company and am kicking myself - hard - because of it. It is shocking to me that companies out there are allowed to get away with this type of behavior. I hate Nationwide. I don't know what the blank I was thinking when I accepted this assignment! Someone come shoot me!

PLEASE, FOR YOUR SANITY, DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER ACCEPT A SIGNING FROM THEM!!! I did not heed the advice of other NPs but I hope you will!

I did a closing for them 3/21/13. I still have not received payment. Another Ohio signing service that does not pay.

That is interesting. I just did a closing for this company 2 days ago. I was told $95 and then asked to print 2 copies of the closing documents. That was 320 pages of documents and 50 miles roundtrip to do the closing. While signing the documents, some of the documents had blanks, and the customer had questions that only the LO could answer. I called Samantha and she was somewhat helpful.

After reading your post I am concerned about payment, or lack thereof. Hopefully I don't have any issues.
