If I were you, I would definitely complain to LSI vendor management that the signing service they used has not paid you. Ask them to assist you in getting payment. Several years ago LSI used LIA Signings for their signing service, and after a huge number of complaints that LIA wasn't paying the notaries, they began contacting notaries directly.

dont ever take an appt from them. Months later and still no pay. Funny thing though, his package was all LSI stuff who I do everyday. Wonder how Speedy SLow/NO Pay ended up with it. I am going to let LSI know not to fool with this one anymore. NO PAY!

Did a closing; was not paid in spite of numerous phone calls/emails. Read on the forum of a notary in similar situation (not with Speedy)demanding payment through PayPal. I called Frank yet again and said, "Let's get this over with; send me payment through PayPal today." It was a done deal within two hours. Would I work for Speedy again? Only if paid through PayPal, in advance (another suggestion from another notary in the forum).

A belated thanks for the great suggestions.

Tried to sign up with this company and was denied, guess I was the lucky one, says he needs all of his notaries to have $100K in E&O.

I have always carried $100K but recently scaled it back since most agencies already held insurance and having the $100K never really got me more business.

I did a closing for this company in May. I have spoken to Frank three times and each time he told me the check was being written and would be mailed right away. So far, no payment. I will never do another signing for Speedy-No-Pay-Closing.

I recently completed a closing for Speedy. I discussed my concerns with Frank at Speedy and he agreed to my payment terms. I have since been paid with no problem. This is just my experience and I wanted to let the forum know. Closing was completed this month.
thanks

Seriously AVOID THIS "COMPANY". Talk about loosers. I did a closing for them, for LSI out of PA. I am an approved vendor w/ LSI, & I contacted them to let them know, it took me 2.5 months to get paid. JERKS.

They are HORRIBLE! Save yourself the trouble. They have called several times about a year ago and I did closings for them expecting to be paid in a timely manner. Long story short, they claimed the check is in the mail. I had to go 'surprise' them at their office and collect the check myself.

Ron had the gall to suggest that I not get paid because he never received any messages. He lied through his teeth. It seems he may be suffering from a personality disorder.

Do yourself a BIG favor, do not work for this company.

Did a closing for them on 11/18/10 and tried to contact them several time, still no payment. I get read receipts on my emails, but no replies; forget calling - they must block all calls from past Notaries.

I was called by them to do a closing. I told them they had a poor history of paying, so Ron agreed to pay me by paypal. I was actually paid before the closing, but with the paypal fees, my payment was deducted by 3.60. In the end, it was better than chasing down a check!

They called me once, about a year ago. I told them after their troublesome payment history noted on notary forums: I better not.

The Rep replied that they'd had some accounts payable issues, but were now cleaning up their act. It looks like they have not.

Still told Rep, thank you, no.

I did a signing for them on 11-18-10 and have not received payment. I spoke with Ron today and he verified they had not sent out my payment, apologized, and said it would go out today. They require you to bill them at the EOM on one invoice for all signings during the month, so if you sign on the 2nd of a month you would not receive payment for almost 60 days.

Speedy Closing, Slow Paying.....

How does this place stay in business??

I worked for Speedy Closing and Title Services in 2009 and I waited a month and a half for my pay. I cringe when they call me...they are not "speedy".

Think twice. Had an apt for two signings the same day (Sat). They called back an hour later to confirm that the signing was Sat and NOT Friday. I said yes my understanding is that the signing is Sat. They then sent a confirmation for the signing and the date on the confirmation said the signings were for Friday. I called them again to confirm the signings were for Sat NOT Friday and they said yes that's right.
I then call the borrower for the first loan and he said the signing is supposed to be FRIDAY(I'm calling him on Friday) not Sat. Since I am already booked on Friday I tell him that if he is available on Sat. I can accomodate the loan signing, however if he can't sign on Sat. I will have to contact the signing Co. and have it re-assigned. I call the other loan and get no answer, but leave a message confiming the signing for Sat. as well.

Saturday comes and the signng is supposed to be at 1:00. I wait all morning for docs that never come, I try to call the signing Co. and get a message that they are only open MOnday through Friday. 1hr. before the apt. I get a call from the signing company saying the signing will not take place at all and they will call me on Monday and that I should notify the borrower. I call the borrower and he puts me on hold and calls the bank (we are not on a three way call) he tells the bank that it is unacceptable and unprofessional etc. but finally agrees to a MOnday signing.

Monday comes and the first borrower calls me wanting to know when we are going to sign, I try calling the signing company and get no answer on the phone, I leave a message. Later the borrower calls me again and says that he HAS to sign today becasue his rate is only good till Friday, I email the signing co. and ask if there is an update that the signer is very upset and wants to know when they will be signing and get an immediate response, "As soon as we know we will contact you" it is now 3:00pm. We finally get docs ~4:30 and complete the signing that evening. I had to listen to alot of flack about unprofessional this process has been etc.
Tues, no word about the second signing that did not happen on Sat.
Weds. I get an email saying that the signing will be at 12:00 today. I wait for docs, the borrower calls (not happy as you can imagine) I email the signing Co. twice about docs and am told they are waiting for approval on the HUD. Meanwhile I take another signing for 1:30, at 11:30 I still have not heard from the signing Co. and decide that I have waited long enough. I send them an email explaining that I have other signings and no longer accomodate this signing, I get an immediate call from the Pres. of the company saying he just sent the docs. I told him I was sorry, but that I had other signings and that if I tried to do this one, it cause problems with the next signing.

I have a feeling that this is a one man operation, I don't know what the work load it like, but get the feeling he may need to hire some help.

If you don't mind waiting for days and last min signings give him a try.
