123notary has revised its glossary. You can learn about all types of notary and mortgage terms. It could be fun and useful to expand your knowledge of terminology pertinent to your industry.

Here is a link to our new glossary:
http://www.123notary.com/glossary/

Our glossary has entries about:

(1)Notary terms like: affix, emboss, errors and omissions insurance, commission, credible witnesses.

(2)Documents used on loan signings like the Notice of Right to Cancel, Truth in Lending, etc.

(3)Loan types and explanations about them such as reverse mortages, loan modifications, balloon mortgage, HELOC, and more!

(4) Mortgage terminology and explanations such as: clear title, subordination, closing instructions, buydown, cap, etc.

(5) Information about e-documents and e-signings

(6) Powers of attorney / attorney in fact
terms relevent to loan signings like, "Backdating", "Capacty"

(7) Property terms such as: coop, common areas, and encumbrance.

The old glossary is still linked to our home page, resources page, and site map. That will be substituted soon with a link to the new glossary which you can preview today with the link above!
