Jim at Trans State is awesome! Not only great to work with and pays in a very timely manner but is very personable and helpful. When I was starting out in the industry he would be encouraging and patient.
I am always happy to hear his voice!

Completed 8 signing for them in the last couple of months. Check is typically received within 2 weeks. Got a check today for a signing on 9/10/2010 (12 days).

I recently did one of those "third party" transactions for Trans State. A couple of pages were overnighted to me and I took them to the closing that was being conducted at an attorney's office. One notarization from me.

The first attempt did not sign due to an issue beyond the buyer's control. The second attempt was successful. Payment in full for both attempts was received within 30 days. It's a small job and pays a smaller fee, so I keep these local.

I would absolutely work for this company again.

Trans State is a great company, very professional and pays on average two to three weeks. Jim Coffey is always positive and a delight to work with. I wish there were more companies out there like Trans State Services.

Trans State (Jim Coffey) is fine to work with. Pay is okay, a little later than I like, but certainly does pay. No complaints from us.

Does anyone have any info on this company:

Trans State Services, Inc.
8224 Damara Dr.
New Port Richey, FL 34653

I received an email solicitation from them that they are looking for new
signing agents. You do a brief sign-up on their web site, and then they send you a packet of forms to complete and return along with notary cert., E&O, etc.

I've gotten burned so many times lately that I'm leery of new companies, so I thought I'd see if anyone has experience with these folks.
