I had to contact her supervisor 3 times to get the docs. She failed to respond then the next day I get this her. I only get maybe 3 assignments a year from them and she thinks blackballing me is a threat. Run don't walk away from these guys.

You will get nothing from me so you need to stop emailing. You need to learn what respect is and you are anything but professional. What I said to you wasn’t a threat, it’s a fact. We have plenty of notary’s that know how to be polite and respectful…I am an employee of TranStar and you are not so get over yourself and move on lady. This conversation is over. You will not work for TranStar again….another fact.

Thx!

They called me yesterday for an assignment last night at 7pm and I accepted it. At 8:19 I received an e-mail it will be tomorrow. So it gets rescheduled for today at 5pm. I turned down 2 assignments and have no docs and no communication. I've called and e-mailed. Finally I called the borrower who called mortgage who said its postponed indefinitely. Should I charge them? For this assignment? The assignments I lost? What would you do?

I like this company. Docs are ready when they call me (or very soon after), they answer the phone after hours, the schedulers are pleasant and polite, assignments sheets are concise and informative, they pay a decent fee, and they usually pay within 21 days. TranStar is on my contact list, and they can call me anytime.

I have had an AWFUL experience with TranStar in Plano, Texas, and I have yet to receive a check for $100.00 from them for services requested and rendered immediately on February 27, 2015. One excuse after another - they only pay every 30 days, then several emails to my inquiries saying the check will be in the mail, is in the mail, and, oh, sorry, it really wasn't in the mail when we said it was, and we tell all notaries to allow a check in the U.S. mail from them in TEN DAYS. People in the Wild West had faster delivery by stagecoach. Traci Weise is the scheduling supervisor, and for the assignment she was top notch. After the scheduling process it all went South quickly. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CHECK FROM THE FEBRUARY 27 ASSIGNMENT --- and it is now April 13. Beware of taking assignments from them. I asked for the name of the CEO so that I could write a letter to see what the problem is, but I have no response to that request. BEWARE.

Easy to work for. Good & fast pay. Wish all mine were like TranStar and that they had more in my area.

They are great! Early docs, everything is in order, borrowers are informed, payment within 10 days. I've done enough for them to know that you need to tell the customer on the confirmation call that you need to pick up a copy of TWO forms of ID - they usually send those instructions with the docs but it would be helpful to have that on the confirmation as well.

I have done several signings for this company and they have paid within 2 weeks. They don't haggle with fee. Great company to do business with.

I agree with you! I usually receive the check in a week to two weeks. TranStar National Title is the best TC I've worked with so far.

So far, I'm impressed with these folks in Plano, TX. I did a signing for them on 3/20/09 and the check was issued on 3/25/09. I did another on 5/6/09 and the check was issued on 5/7/09. I don't think I can ask for better than that! Service seems to be good also. They don't need to hold your hand, and are available for questions. So far, they are on Santa's good list.
