1 touch and proficient are two different companies...1 touch I would now not touch with a 10 foot pole. Proficient is a different story. Paid with check in my mailbox within 34 days. Hubby did one last month and I got an email this AM stating that check was going out today. As long a Vicki keeps up the current pay timetable I will accept signings from her anytime....Deborah

Interesting about Vicki Ruiz.
I am still waiting for payment of a 1 Touch closing in October.
I had problems with 1 Touch last year. Finally got paid, and now I am back in the same boat. Any ideas on how to get Tommy to pay me? I thought I could trust them after they cleaned up their act last year.

Linda,
Correct, I am no longer affiliated with 1 Touch Closings. I have opened my own company and have been told, upon our parting of ways, Tommy is going to be continuing the issuing of payment for closings - Please note payment issues / practices in accordance with 1 Touch Closings IS NOT a payment policy of Proficient Signings Inc.

Just found some interesting news - for those of you owed money:

Vikki was deleted from 1 Touch Closings in the 10/23/2008 filing of their Annual Report. She has now opened a new company - Proficient Signings, Inc. - careful everyone. Both companies still active according to the state website.

You can confirm this info at the Florida corporations' office, www.sunbiz.org

Curious - how successful has this been for you? How many signings have you completed with payment in this manner? How many companies agree to this payment process?

I'm tellin' ya - lends more credence to the argument of us being paid at the table!! Not like we're not paid from borrowers' funds to begin with...

Or, someone else had a novel idea - return the package C.O.D....<G>

Tried again to call Vikki/Tommy for payment and now their phone is disconnected. Guess another company out of business! GRRRR.
