I actually had to send David's file to my collection department last month for non-payment of a signing that I did for mobilesigning.com back in December of 2012. Like other notaries I was told several times that payment was forthcoming, but I've never received a check. David seems like a really nice guy. I hate sending people to collections, but I need to get paid. Debra...did you ever receive payment for any of the 3 that he owed you for? Maybe I should count my blessings that I only got burned on one signing...but even one signing really hurts my little business. Fingers crossed I eventually see some $$ on this one.

I have worked with David Baca for a few years and never had a problem until recently. I have done 3 signings for him now and have not been paid anything. My oldest one was in August. I have contacted him many times, been promised money many times, and received nothing.

I was called by David Baca for my first signing and had a great experience, it goes to show that you can't take everything you here on these forums to heart because a lot of peoples situations are not the same and they don't mension it all, so just caution what you see here in all forums and that is my experience, if I was to listen to the advise I have receive I would have given up by now!

My experience with doing a recent signing for David was positive. Things went smoothly and I was paid for my services within a month. I would work for him again in the future if given the opportunity.

I have my appointment confirmation letter from David which includes contact information. It is as follows:

Hey thanks for letting us know about this company. David called me yesterday and asked if I would do a signing. He said I would get an email from him, I never got it. So, I assumed he found someone else.
I got two calls from him today, he was mad at me for not returning them asap. I was at work and could not call right away. So, when I did call him back, I told him I never got the email. As I did not. He said he gave the signing to someone else and would call me next time. I apologized for the confusion.
There is another board, that is not saying good things about David, and I am glad I came here to find out.
Thank you!

I just got a call from David tonight asking if I would be able to do a signing in my area for him in the near future. He must have found my contact info from this or some other directory that I have a profile with.

David is a good guy, he even calls you if you don't deposit the check in your bank account on time.

I have completed multiple signings for this company. they pay promptly but it appears that they are either changing names or merging with another service. checks are coming from different account names. Easy to work with.
