I did one signing for Hourglass and I agree - I wish Elliot would call me more - he was great to work with - however, I also had significant problems with the package, having to revise docs at the table, initials, etc., etc...again, not Elliot's fault. He was reachable and yes, knocked himself out to get the deal done right.

I believe Hourglass Notary is the in-house SS for Hourglass Title (or used to be) - Elliot, if you're reading this, you don't call, you don't write...<G>....I'd work for him again in a heartbeat.

Elliot at Hourglass Notary is a true professional and a delight to work with! I would take another local one from him in a heartbeat.

That said, in March 2008, a particular lender and title company had multiple mistakes in the documents (stupid ones). This was no reflection on Elliot, who worked tirelessly and late into the evening to keep the signing going, get approvals for "we won't sign," "this needs to be crossed out, corrected and initialed," etc. I LOVE a contact person who answers his/her phone regardless of the time and, during a diffcult signing, calls you at the table to see if you need anything.

The agreed upon fee was reasonable and I was paid within my requested timeframe.

Yes, I have done several signings for Elliot...he is the owner I think and he is great! Most of my work for him was in 2007 but he pays well and paid fast.

Yes, I have! I accepted a signing on 3/14/08 from HourGlass and was paid on 4/10/08. It was a Single Refi (125 pages), one signer, with e-docs. The Borrower was about 7 miles from my home, one way. I agreed to do the job for $130.00 There was a problem with receivng the loan papers, but once it was received, everything went smooth!

I am new. So, you think I should have charged more? If so, how much?

I would work with them again!

I haven't heard from them for almost a year. They have always paid.
