I did a signing for Deb last year. It took almost four months to get paid. Don't waste your time, pass Deb by.

Talked to Service Link who will no longer use them. They can't get a hold of anyone either.

Wow...judging by what I read about this company elsewhere, I'd suggest you contact title - it's really doesn't look good.

After collecting short fee payment and waiting for the balance via check to clear as of yesterday, finally have the original fee from last summer. Call the title company. If you don't have luck, call the title company's ap department. Only way to get through to DL. Never again!

I performed a closing on 12/8 and have not received payment and have not received a response to a PayPal request. A few days ago when I called to leave a message, I got "mailbox is full." I have done closings before for them and received payment only after following up. Now there's not even a response.

I did a closing for Greenbelt Real estate in June of 2010 and have yet to be paid. I did not receive any responses to my e-mails, regular mail, faxes, and phone calls, except for one e-mail with her claiming she will check it out. That was 2 months ago. I have turned it over to my attorney son for collection. He wrote Deb Lapine a letter about 3 weeks ago threatening court action and she has not replied to that either. Do not take work from this company unless you like to work for free.

No payment from July 2010 closing, no response to e-mails, no response to phone calls, no response to attorney's letter. Payment methods should not determine whether you are paid or not - if you agree to pay on or before a due date, then you need to honor that contract. Deb has not rectified her ways - say no.

I did a closing on 3/15/10 and still have NOT been paid yet. I have left numerous voice mails with no response. I just tried again and their voice mail is "full" now. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I reply early in Feb 09,so, I have completed over 27 closing for GRES. Deb has always paid in a timely maner. I have not had to call her to inquire about my payments. Again, I would work anytime for her,she is great to work with. I can only go by my personal business experience with this company(GRES).

Greenbelt, have a great story. Did 4 signings total. I did two and got a call for another signing. I said no no no unless I get PayPal payment for ones owing. She did and I got paid in an instant and also for the new one I was to do. I was happy! Do not know if I would have gotten paid without the 2nd request. This was in 2007. That was all I heard from them. Have had no more history. But you must not be wishy washy with business. Keep good records and know who, what and when. Great for collection success.

I work for a lot of other signing services who do pay within a reasonable time. Over the years, I have had to call other SS maybe once or twice, but have never had to keep calling and send letters as I've had to do with Deb/Greenbelt, and this last signing with Greenbelt wasn't the first time I had to follow up on getting paid. I previously had to call, fax and email her with no reply whatsoever. It's just not worth the aggravation.

You are so right. Deb is one of the finest that I have worked for. I am consistently busy here in the Boston area, but I will try and rearrange to fit her in.

I have done a few signings for Deb and I always have to call for my payment. It takes at least 60-90 days before I see a check. I finally got paid on the last signing, but that was only after sending GRES a letter. My time is valuable and I have better things to do than spend it chasing payments. Good luck!

Well go-beaves then you are one of the lucky ones because I still have not been paid by Greenbelt. It's been over 60 days and since I never received the courtesy of a return call or reply email from "Deb," I had to send her a letter. My time is valuable and I don't have time to be following up on overdue payments by calling, sending emails and letters. I've been doing loan signings for many years and have never had to chase my payments like I always have to do with Greenbelt. It's just not worth it. Like I said, Deb should have had the courtesy to return my calls or send me an email letting me know payment was forthcoming. That would be the professional thing to do.

I have been signing regularly for Greenbelt and have no complaints. Payment comes almost exactly 30 days after signing. They are always professional and return my calls.

This firm is/was located in Melville New York. I did two closings for them but no pay. I inquired a little over a week ago, was promised a check would be in the Monday am mail....never got it. Second inquiry got this reply, "Blow it out your a__." I do have the e-mail. I recommend no one take on any work from them.
