E-title is now charge $30 for new notary vendors and $10 for existing ones.

I'd rather spend my money renewing my subscription to 123.

I just wanted to add my two cents in here. I have been doing a lot of marketing/research if you will this week. I have talked with E-Title and they are now charging a $10 fee to sign up with them, I guess to process the paperwork. They don't do much business in my state so I will not be giving them my $10...

In my prior professional life, I was an auditor for Stewart Title. In my current professional life, I performed quite a number of signings for them for properties located outside SC. I can personally vouch for this company. It is well-managed and they do pay in a timely manner.

Best wishes,

Donna

E-Title (a/k/a ECS /Electronic Closing Services) is a division of Stewart. I know E-Title laid off a ton of people last year, but Stewart is a huge, global 'bundled services' company. They are also a title ins underwriter with over 6,000 agents - NREIS is one of those agents (but NREIS does do policies underwritten by several other co's as well).

I did closings several years back for e-title out of Houston, but none recently.

I don't recall any unpleasant happenings with them.

Its hard to say with companies that are related to each other or companies that have similar names. For me, I would go by the name on the faxed order form that you get. Whatever and address is evidence for who they are. I will not make guesses about who is who unless the evidence is on the fax.

There is an E-Title that is in Pittsburgh, PA and connected with NREIS (or used to be connected to them) but their accounting department is in Houston, TX. Could this be the same company?

Has anyone worked for them? Are they still in business? It seems they are related to NREIS.
