I've done a few for Century and have not had any problems so far. Easy to work with and paid on time.

Darla is OK in my book too. Always fair and helpful, and she pays on time, without phone calls, faxes, emails. I always want to take the assignment when she calls.

I have the utmost respect for Darla in the way she conducts her business. She has always been helpful, honest and fair with me. Not to mention she ALWAYS pays on time. If I could work for only one SS it would be Century

Here you go talking about things you have no idea about. You obviously, have not read the forums much, because I see a lot of good things about them. Take your own advice, and read them.

I do not work for Century Document Services as an employee. How do you know where I live? I live several hours away from them. I however, do get several closings from them, and hope to continue to do business with them. I think they are one of the best SS to work for and I know several other notaries who do so as well. At least they are still in business, and the they PAY.

How many SS have stiffed you on the pay? Believe me, they are out there.

You’re the one saying that the borrowers are the one who canceled the loan, due to no fault of your own. Ok fine, this happens. None of us like it, it cost us time and money. However, it sounds to me like things kept going back and forth. No one likes to loose a job, but I have title companies that will use other notaries, because someone else scheduled it. I am not saying that is what happened, but to blantely call out someone simply because you did not get the assignment is childish. Sure it would be nice, to have gotten the job again, and I am not saying that you shouldn’t have got the job, but things happen. Have you ever worked for them before, did they not pay you, did they cancel on you, did they treat you badly. Other this one time, where they did not call you back for this closing, what did they do wrong? That is all I am saying. I work for several SS and everyone has dropped their fees. I don't like it either, but hey, I will take all the closings I can get. I make my living this way. Maybe you should consider another line of work. I am sure corporate America would love to have you. Let them pass you over for a job, Gee; I wonder what you would do.

Sounds to me like you don't need the work, so why worry about not getting a call back when the loan was back on. You must work for several companies, so just don’t work for Century any more. I am curious to know what SS, title companies, brokers, etc think of you.

In any event that is my 2 cents worth.

Sounds to me like someone is upset they did not get the closing back once it was reassigned. Grow up would you. It is notaries like you that give the rest of us a bad name. Always complaining about something.

I have worked for Century Document Services for about 5 years now and have never had any problems. As a matter of fact, they are one the best signing companies out here to work for. They are friendly, courteous and very helpful. They always pay on time. I would highly recommend this ss to any one.

Good. They pay in about 45 days as a rule, and I have not had any payment issues with them. Have a great day, Janet
