Notarybids.com is unique and cool. Although you will be working for less money, its worth trying out if you need the work. They are an intermediary, so research whatever companies offer you work.

Well Ilene I personally don't know anybody that has paid a SS for work. So hopefully someone will chime in in the next few days. Rule of thumb is to never pay a SS for work. They already pay a paltry fee as well as make us wait forever to get paid (if we get paid it all). Always hit the boards and ask others before you spend your cash.

They are suppose to have a 90 day guarantee and that you can get your money back if you aren't satisfied with their service. Has anyone even been called to give a bid? Please help me out here!!

You are best served if you only work for title companies and not signing companies. You still need to watch out for non-payers, however, they are few and far between.

Before you spend your hard earned money on advertising please do a search for key words notary, notary public on yahoo, google etc. If the company is on the front page of the search...spend your money..if not forget about it.

I'd suggest going back and reading the other postings on the subject of NotaryBids.com. It doesn't sound real good.

Gee, hope you didn't join. But, if you did, just kick anything that comes thru NotaryBids up by $15... Problem solved.

1st, never pay for work. 2nd, notarybids is run by a guy that has a horrible reputation for not paying notaries. He has now started this to get money out of us. No way.

Have any of you readers worked with NotaryBids.com? They offer a lifetime fee of $49, or $1, but then they take $9.95 per signing from my proceeds/pay. Are they legitimate? Thanks!
