Become a South Carolina notary public
 
Requirements
You must be eighteen years old to be a SC notary public.  You must be a SC resident and registered voter. 
A SC notary commission is for ten years. There are no bonding requirements, however a notary public must 
use a notary seal.   Journals are not required for SC notaries, but they are highly recommended.
